Saturday, December 10, 2016 - What an incredible time in Jacksonville hosting a Holiday Party with Malik Jackson and over 100 military children and families in attendance. The holiday season is often tough on military families so Helping Hands for Freedom, Survivor Outreach Services, and Malik’s Gifts partnered together to provide gifts, food and smiles for everyone. Malik was able to take pictures and sign autographs for all the kids and the parents, but the really cool part was the love and respect in the room.

The Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport put out a great spread of food and were gracious hosts. Home Depot stepped up and provided a “Santa’s Workshop” and taught the kids building skills. Operation Santa Cause helped out with providing extra gifts for our guests and Lori Culberson and Keith Ham of Survivor Outreach Services were amazing with the planning and support!

Gold Star Families and Survivors are special. It is a joy to serve military children and families of the fallen, wounded and deployed. Happy Holidays.
