Friday, November 14th - Helping Hands for Freedom is proud to share that our work with military children and families is being recognized by the Hallmark Channel as one of their National Military Family Charities of the Year. During Veteran’s Day week, the Hallmark Channel recognized several charities making a difference in the military community. We are honored to have been chosen for our work with children of the fallen, wounded and deployed.

Fort Huachuca honors HHFF for its service to Gold Star Families

Thursday, November 20 – Darin Fishburn, CEO of HHFF, was able to spend the day at Fort Huachuca with Alma Tamayo, Survivor Outreach Services Director, educating members of the staff on HHFF and our services. The Garrison Commander Boone presented an award to Mr. Fishburn recognizing Helping Hands for Freedom excellence with the U.S. Army and their Gold Star Families.
