Life Needs Program

Financial Assistance/Life Needs Program

Helping Hands for Freedom provides emergency financial assistance to military families based on needs that arise from financial hardships faced when a family member is wounded or lost in the line of duty.  Our goal is to keep families together, with a roof over their heads, and food in their bellies.  Gold Star families have already paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and we believe that they should not have to continue paying that sacrifice after the loss of their loved one.  This is why we take care of our Gold Star families nationwide.

Hear from our families:

"We cannot begin to thank you enough for everything you have done for our family.  You, sir, are an amazing man and we are truly blessed to be able to call you not just friend, but family.  Thank you and your team at HHFF for everything you do and for all your help at our benefit.  May God continue to keep you and bless you."

"Thank you so much for your help with our move to North Dakota!  We appreciate all your help and send thanks to you and your staff for all their help."

"Thanks for always supporting us.  You are an amazing foundation.  We appreciate you folks more than you'll ever know.  We wouldn't be able to do it without you.  May God bless you."

"You guys have been, and continue to be, an inspiration to us all!  As a veteran, I am so grateful for everything.  Thank you!"

Hear from our volunteers:

"Thank you to all of you for allowing my wife and I to be a part of HHFF. Tonight I got word that a military family may not have Christmas. The father is in the army and has severe PTSD. Things are so bad that the wife and kids had to move out and they wouldn't have Christmas. I got in touch with Darin and asked what we could do, IF anything, and he said, 'get the ages of the kids'. I'm glad to say we are helping this family and I'll be taking gifts down to them.  I've been a part of some non-profits that were all talk and no action. HHFF is the opposite and every day we live by the motto of helping those dealing with death, deployment and loss. Thank you for letting me help advance that."    - Paul Gable
