Lou began his career in the late-1960s in the advertising department of the Chicago Tribune Company, where he developed a foundation in strategic marketing and brand storytelling. He was later recruited to Arizona by what was then the largest advertising agency in the state, creating integrated marketing and advertising campaigns for some of the region’s most recognizable brands, including Circle K, Lennar Homes, and SkyMall.

In 2001, SkyMall offered Lou an executive leadership role, where he spent the next 14 years as Director of Sales & Branding, reporting directly to the company’s president. During his tenure, he played a key role in transforming the SkyMall Catalog from a novelty retail insert into a polished consumer magazine. At its peak, the publication was distributed across 10 major airlines, with 20 million copies printed quarterly and an estimated reach of more than 650 million passengers annually.

As airline consolidations led carriers to produce their own in-flight magazines—and as passengers increasingly shifted to digital devices—SkyMall ultimately ceased publication and Lou retired.

Today, he enjoys time with his family and is an Author & Writer ("From Fenway to Phoenix"). A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Lou served in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart along with five additional combat-related medals. He is also the son of Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Boudreau, carrying forward a legacy of leadership, discipline, and excellence.
