    The 5-mile walk will begin and end in downtown Shelbyville on the circle.  We will walk from the circle down State Road 44 toward Walmart and then back to the circle.

    Gold Star Day at the Arizona Snowbowl

    Gold star families braved the stormy weather to spend time together at the Arizona Snowbowl. Despite the weather conditions, the families had a great time taking the Scenic Chairlift and the lunch provided as well.

  • Gold Star Picnic in Littleton, Colorado

    Gold Star Picnic in Littleton, Colorado

    Close to 65 military children and families attend our 1st annual Gold Star Family picnic.  The magician and balloon maker was the star of the day and made sure all the kids were entertained.

    On Monday,May 31, 2016, HHFF celebrated Memorial Day at Wrigely field with the Tristan Hotchkin, gold star son of Gunnar Hotchkin.  Tristan threw out the pitch for the Memorial Day game.

    Gold Star Day at Castles 'N Coasters

    Survivor Outreach Services and Helping Hands for Freedom teamed up to take Arizona Gold Star families to Castles 'N Coasters.  The families were treated to park admission, miniature golf, arcade cash, and dinner.

    Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant sponsored the Gold Star Wives lunch last Saturday. Our ladies enjoyed the event. The food was superb, service was great, and the memories are to be cherished.
