The applicant must be the Veteran, spouse/significant other or Gold Star immediate family member. You may only apply once in a 12-month period.
HHFF will only consider rent/mortgage, utility or vehicle payments for assistance.
HHFF DOES NOT HELP WITH down payments/rental deposits, medical bills, insurance, medical bills, personal or credit card debt, food, gas, home/vehicle repair, transportation to appointments or send funds directly to the Veteran or family.
The application will be reviewed by our volunteer Veteran committee and the decision will be made in 5-7 work days. Their decision is final. There are no appeals.

All documents must be PDF/JPG attachments. Do not put in the body of the email! The application will not be processed unless all documents are received. Any missing documents must be received within 10 days of the original request or the incomplete application will be automatically denied.
- A completed application
- Your photo ID
- DD214 with an honorable discharge-General Under Honorable will not be considered.
- Most recent complete bank statement.
- The mortgage/rent, utility or vehicle statement you want us to consider.
- Most recent 1040 first page that shows dependents. If you don’t pay taxes explain on the app.
- VA disability letter if any military based disability.
