A gathering of Warriors to support military children & families

Posted September 11, 2013 by Rodney Smith

For Immediate Release: Brett Titus and Leslie Hamblin hosted the 3rd annual Tactical Development Symposium featuring over 20 of the top law enforcement and military instructors to share their knowledge and experience with over 300 participants from around the country. The three day event included a banquet and a championship MMA event at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Hotel featuring 8 fights that delighted the crowd!

Each day, the attendees had the opportunity to choose between five different classes presented by the most talented teachers in their field. Vendors were on hand to demonstrate a variety of state-of-the-art tactical gear and training to the TacDog conference participants.

This year's conference benefited Helping Hands for Freedom, a 501c3 non-profit charity supporting military children of the fallen, wounded and deployed. A live auction and a raffle featuring a Peyton Manning signed jersey, a Duck Dynasty signature piece, a Muhammad Ali classic signed photograph of his famous fight with Sonny Liston, MMA Legends Signature Piece and the most popular auction item of the night, "Pink Girl" the baby German Sheppard that was donated by Elaine Holt's, Five Peaks German Shepard's. The over 2,000 people in the crowd helped the charity raise $4,100 that will go directly to the support of military children in need.

Thank you to Adamson Police Products, John Rogers, for supporting and participating in the Tactical Development Symposium, Jeff Smith from Liberty Mutual for helping provide volunteers and everyone's "behind-the-scenes" hard work.
