On December 15th In Colorado there was a Gold Star Family Holiday Reception at the Governor's Mansion. In addition to yummy food, Santa was a welcomed guest and the kids loved all of the craft options.
A Gold Star Tree was arrayed with ornaments to display and honor the Deceased Service Members. It was a very lighthearted event and the Gold Star Families had a great time.
