GOLF TOURNAMENT AND VIP DINNER AT MOON VALLEY COUTRY CLUB WAS A HUGE SUCCESS
April 27, 2015 - Over 120 guests enjoyed a great day of golf at Moon Valley Country Club benefiting military children of the fallen, wounded and deployed. The annual event was presented by our title sponsor, www.mybillingtree.com, and started out with a private breakfast for all the war veterans and first responder Heroes at the Hilton Point Tapitio Cliffs to say “thank you” for their service. On hand was our 2015 Wounded Warrior of the year, US Army Staff Sgt. Chris Bain. Bain saved his unit with no regards for his own life and spent over three years in Walter E Reed for a very long recovery. He was awarded a Silver Star and Purple Heart from Iraq for his bravery.
On the golf course, Colors were provided by the Cactus JROTC and then the daughter of Co-Founder Staff Sgt. Patrick Shannon, Brenna Shannon, sung a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. After Golf we held our VIP Dinner and Auction that featured nationally recognized comedian and former US Marine Captain, Greg Hahn. Greg bought the house down with his performance.
