HHFF was honored to have 3 Grammy award winning artist come together to support our cause for military children and families. Murphy Lee organized a "Block Party" concert in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Midwest Sports Complex that featured Nelly, Chingy and the St. Lunatics among five other acts that performed to a crowd of 1,500 people. Mobile Network1 and Cut it Down Productions teamed up to host the event that was recognized on three major TV stations and over 12 radio stations. The block party also featured a jump house and other children friendly games at the kid zone with back to school supplies and six food trucks for those in attendance.
Our CEO Darin Fishburn kicked the event off with Miss Black USA singing America the Beautiful followed by Brenna Shannon, daughter of Co-Founder Staff Sgt. Shannon, singing the National Anthem.
