August 26, 2015 – Back to School Celebration – Ft. Carson, CO:
HHFF is proud to sponsor a Back to School Celebration at the Ft. Carson Survivor Outreach Center. People often forget how difficult it is for the families left behind. When we support military children and families, part of our message is to honor and thank the kids and their families for their own sacrifices. If we can help bring them together and bring a smile to their face, we feel it is an important part of serving our mission.
The evening featured food, drinks and entertainment for the kids. The magician and face painter were a bit hit! HHFF was able to purchase backpacks for the kids and fill them up with school supplies to make sure they get the school year off to a great start.
