PHOENIX, Ariz. (June 22, 2016) — Helping Hands for Freedom has been selected as the second quarter Goodwill Gives ChangeCampaign recipient.  The program provides funds to help support qualifying nonprofit organizations.  During the weekend of June 23-25, Helping Hands for Freedom will receive all of the cash donations made at Goodwill registers in Maricopa County.

About Goodwill Gives

Goodwill Gives is a program focused on raising funds for a different nonprofit organization every quarter. Customers have the option of making a donation or round up their change at the register with 100% of the funds benefiting a featured nonprofit organization during this time.

“Through the generosity of the Maricopa county Goodwill locations and their customers, we will be able to care for more children this summer than we otherwise would be able to help.  The children of the fallen paid a heavy price for our freedoms, and we strive to lessen the burden they carry,” said Helping Hands for Freedom CEO, Darin Fishburn, “At what point will they stop paying?”
