Cindy and Jim Hill from Shop with a Cop included over 200 children of the fallen, wounded and deployed in the four events on December 7th and 14th. Each child was given an allowance of $100 to shop for whatever they wanted. Many shopped for their single parent, purchased clothes or the latest hot toy.

April 30, 2019 - HHFF met their new NASCAR hero in Kyle Busch. Co-founder Rod Smith and Billy Crafton, a financial adviser to professional athletes, organized a meeting with Kyle Busch to show his support of our Gold Star and Survivor families at the Arizona National Guard base.
This July Helping Hands for Freedom partnered with AZTV7 to collect backpacks for the children of the fallen, wounded and deployed to insure the kids had a backpack full of school supplies to kick off the 2019 school year.
July 14, 2019 - 90 golfers gathered for our annual Tee it up for Heroes fund raising golf tournament. Thank you to Valle Vista Country Club in Greenwood, Indiana for a great golf course and great food following golf. This event has become a staple of our fund raising efforts in Hoosier land home of our co-founder Patrick Shannon.
April 23, 2018 - Moon Valley Country Club, Phoenix, Arizona was the host to the annual Helping Hands for Freedom Heroes Golf Classic. This event's purpose is to raise funds in support of our Gold Star and Military families. Weather was perfect and the course and comradery was outstanding.

December 14th, 2017 marked the Annual ZooLights Holiday Celebration for Arizona Gold Star and AW2 families supported by Helping Hands for Freedom and AZTV 7. 164 family members joined us for a holiday dinner at the Phoenix Zoo, family gifts, toys for children and with the special appearance of Santa Claus and his helpers.
