On December 16, 2017, Helping Hands for Freedom welcomed 45 military children to Shop with a Cop in Greenwood, Indiana. This annual event is supported by the Trooper Bartram Foundation and is always an opportunity to bring joy to these children during the holiday season.
AZ LEOS supported Helping Hands for Freedom and the military children and teens of Arizona with their 15th Annual Shop with A Cop Program on December 2nd, 9th and 16th. Over 35 military children shopped with military escorts or other first responders to shop at Walmart and Target during the month of December.
11/24/2017 Helping Hands for Freedom would like to thank Arizona Broadway Theatre, Tracy Williams, Director of Patron Services and Brad York, Marketing Director for designating Helping Hands for Freedom as the recipient of their Toy Drive for our Veterans and their families this year.
On Veterans Day Helping Hands for Freedom held a benefit concert at Lusso Fine Motorcars in Scottsdale. Ultimate Bon Jovi and Don't Stop Believing Journey cover bands entertained more than 300 guests. The November 11th evening raised more than $85,000 to assist veterans and Gold Star families with fundamental life needs.

Helping Hands for Freedom honored Arizona Gold Star families with our Gold Star Mother and Host, Annette Hill, for our Annual Survivor’s Barbeque. Annette graciously opened her beautiful Phoenix home to 100 guests to celebrate the lives of those Service Members we have lost during times of combat.
Lake Pleasant Halloween BBQ and boat ride. Our generous partner, Dillon's BBQ hosted 125 military families on October 26th. The families enjoyed a beautiful evening on the water and then the children were sent to the Haunted House which was opened especially for them
Saturday, June 10, 2017 – It was an incredible experience for over 300 children that got to participate in the Malik Jackson Youth Football and Soccer Program on Saturday, June 10 at University Christian School in Jacksonville, Florida. Malik's Gifts donated the money to cover all the expenses so that all the children could attend at no cost!
